Fulton Oysterfest

The Fulton Oysterfest is an annual event in Fulton, Texas put on and sponsored by the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department. Oysterfest features carnival rides, games, food, an oyster-eating contest, live music, unique vendor booths, and much more. This year the festival will host a fireworks display along the waterfront near the Fulton Harbor.

This year will commemorate its 44th Annual event. Held March 7th through the 10th 2024 at Fulton Harbor Park.



The oysters are flowing at this year’s Fulton Volunteer Fire Department Oysterfest, where everyone in town comes together to celebrate our community’s history while supporting a worthy cause. It may not be your typical small-town event – it has grown into something much bigger than anyone could have planned or imagined but still manages to keep its local festival vibe!




Admission to the Festival

Thursday Only: $2 Thursday Only: Active/Retired Military – Free Fri-Sat-Sun: $5 (12 and Over)

The Carnival area is free to enter and tickets for rides are available on-site

Wendel Family Fireworks Show

Established in 1965, this family event is one of Rockport’s most iconic and has been a tradition for over fifty years. The Wendel Family Fireworks Show is a cherished tradition in Rockport, Texas, celebrated annually on the Fourth of July.

The event was started by Jerry and Jan Wendel in 1965.


Location:

The fireworks show takes place in Rockport, and some of the best spots to view it are along Broadway/Fulton Beach Road, Highway 35 by Little Bay, Rockport Beach Park, and Rockport Marina and Sea Wall.


Timing:

The fireworks begin at dark on the Fourth of July.

Community Involvement: It’s a community-funded event, with donations keeping the tradition alive.

The annual Rockport Art Festival takes place during that weekend and is one of Rockport’s great annual events.  “This area comes together during these times”. With good food available at all events, live music playing
