We call this first picture looking toward South Water Street. As we look around the beautiful town of Rockport Texas there is one street that has a long standing history in the Town from its early days until today. Its the famous South Water Street. This view was taken from the Rockport Fishing Pier during a late afternoon in January 2021. In the distance you can see the Hunts Castle Hotel, Some fan palms, a batten up Texas flag, and some nice sea gulls resting on a broken down old pier.

Today Looking toward Water Street is a great place to walk down or ride your bike down and enjoy the water front and do some great bird watching, and is especially great for checking out the great sunrises over Aransas Bay. Hunts Castle, and Laguna Reef are its prominent hotels located there. Recently though there are several vacation rentals to be found there as well. Both have some great fishing piers as well as water front views of the bay. Below is a map of how to get there as well as the links to the Laguna Reef and Hunts Castle if you would like to pay a visit.
