Rockport Fulton Market Days
We can't really tell you about all of the great events and festivals that go on in the Rockport Fulton area without first starting off with one of the best markets in the state of Texas. Rockport Fulton Market Days is a monthly festival held every third weekend of every month in Rockport Texas at the Rockport Festival Grounds and has been going on for over 5 years now.
They feature over 100 great Art & Craft Vendors, Resale Vendors, Women’s Boutiques, Custom Jewelry, Awesome Food Trucks, Free Face Painting, and Live Music. I mean they have all kinds of stuff from handmade items to homemade treats. You will have no problems finding some really cool and unique items. It's really hands down one of the best markets in the state of Texas and we would put it up against any other market going on in the United States.
We will also mention that this is Pet-Friendly so literally everyone is welcome to attend! The monthly event is always free and is going to be starting Friday 9 am-4 pm, and again on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am-4 pm every third weekend of every month.
Throw in the fact that it is held on the Rockport Texas Waterfront within walking distance of Rockport Beach Park, Rockport Harbor, and Downtown Rockport. This monthly festival is a guaranteed great time with lots of options to continue your adventure while visiting the area.

The Fulton Oysterfest
Last year's event turned out to be one of the best of all time.
Created to celebrate the rich oyster harvest brought in by the local fleets, the Fulton Oysterfest has become one of Texas's biggest and best celebrations. It is a time for locals and visitors alike to enjoy fresh seafood and take part in fun activities to commemorate this great tradition.
This year the event will take place from Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 to Sunday, March 5th, 2023
and takes place at the Fulton Harbor Park

Annual Rockport Crawfish Cook-Off and Tasting
Starting in the springtime right around spring break the city comes alive with its first huge event the Annual Rockport Crawfish Cook-Off and Tasting.
This fun-filled 2-day event is now the biggest crawfish festival in the whole coastal bend with over 10,000 attendees. Last year it served over 20,000 lbs of crawfish. It's where the best crawfish-cooking teams get together to compete for the grand prize of holding the yearly crown.
This Year's celebration will be from Friday, Mar 15 2024 to Saturday, March 16th, 2024
The festival features all-you-can-eat crawfish, famous live music acts a large carnival area, and of course some ice-cold beer and beverages! This year it will be held at the very end of Rockport Beach

Rockport Yacht Club's 2024 Annual Nautical Flea Market
Get ready to take off on a nautical voyage at the Rockport Yacht Club's 2023 Annual Nautical Flea Market! Sailors and landlubbers alike can explore over 60 vendors featuring all sorts of amazing, sea-inspired items. There will be plenty to satisfy even seafarer bellies – food stands line the pier while an array of drinks awaits those who dock their vessels at the club porch. Cast away for this memorable maritime experience!

4th of July Wendell Family Fireworks
Rockport, Texas is the perfect place to experience all that Independence Day has to offer. For over fifty years, the Wendell Family Fireworks show has been dazzling skies with vibrant colors and awe-inspiring displays - making it one of America's premier July 4th destinations!

The Wendell Family started their fireworks display on July 4, 1965, entertaining family and friends. The following year, they expanded the show and moved to a public location in Rockport, attracting larger crowds. Jerry and later his sons Wayde and Shawn became certified pyrotechnicians and continued to increase the size and quality of the fireworks.
In the 1970s, with the support of residents and businesses, the show evolved into an outstanding display. The tradition continues to be celebrated annually, now managed by the Wendell Family Fund, a non-profit organization. The show has grown tremendously over the years and is funded by private donations. It is a fully tax-deductible 501(c)(3) public charity.
